Laura Blackwell as 
backup dancer. 
Not really, but Laura 
has danced with the 
crowds at each one 
of those concerts.  
Although not formally 
trained, Laura loves 
to boogie and does 
so any chance 
she gets. When she’s 
not getting down, 
Laura serves or has 
served on various 
boards, including 
Hospice & Palliative 
Care of Cabarrus 
County, the Humane 
Society of Concord 
and Greater Cabarrus 
County and the 
Cabarrus County 
Education Foundation. 
She is also 
the proud mom of two 
teenage sons and one 
teenage step-daughter.

is Corey Brown.
